I am thinking of wearing these on the bases this year. You may not know much about this shoe brand but they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Hoka has some basketball officials that wear these shoes on the HS level I have seen in my area. I wore this same type of shoe working on my feet all summer and the support and comfort was amazing. If you need a wide shoe or a supportive shoe...this is the shoe for you. I don’t work for Hoka...just trying to help your feet.

Sure you dont... just like @gnhbua93doesn't secretly work for Force3. :rollinglaugh:

I have heard of thus brand and remember seeing good things. They just don't come up much since I rarely shop for sneakers and they don't make an industrial boot.

:sarcasm: "Useless to me / us! They're too mesh-y, too much white, and there's no leather to spit / polish shine to gaudy, obscene, pretentious levels!"

:sarcasm: "The Big League guys don't wear these, so they're not for me / us! I / we have to have what the Big League guys wear, otherwise, who will take us seriously?!"

Arik, by that reasoning, New Balance doesn't make an industrial boot, and last I checked, you're not wearing Redwing or Caterpillar base shoes. :wacko2:

I bought a pair of work boots from a company called Hytest. I would SERIOUSLY consider using their boots with a true metatarsal guard on them for the plate if I chose to do so. They are some of the most comfortable boots I have worn. If they made shoes I would feel safe wearing on the bases... I darn well would.

Huge fan of Hoka and the Arahi (which is the shoe shown by OP) is the only shoe I have worn that curbs Plantar Fasciitis pain for me. I would be worried a little bit about wearing them on the field for traction sake, but I have thought about it as well.

@MadMax Don't worry there is an option for those that must have leather AND all black... Break out the Pedag!
