Can't remember if this was the one .... unless of course YOU had the gap cap put on that one ....

story:

easy ........ while working w/ Jeff Cook on one of my mods (my original 15" Douglas WV) .... I asked if he could do a gap-cap that wasn't a football (cup shaped) epaulet.  I suggested to take the regular collar bone piece, trim it down and fit it for gap-cap protection.  It was the same shape, pre formed , fit the space, but just needed to be trimmed...protective enough, but MUCH more streamline.  He loved it and trimmed one up and sent me an email w/ a photo and thus .... there it is!   "Thundercap!"  LOL!
