    I've used both. The Wilson's are definitely more bulky. On me the thigh pad came up higher on the Douglas than the Wilsons. I would not hesitate going with Douglas. Because when they start getting worn, Douglas will refurbish them for you for a nominal fee so you dont have to spend another $100+ again on new shin guards. Overall, Douglas shins are bulletproof without all the weight and bulk.
