Jeff DOUGLAS was the owner of the company.

Jeff COOK handles the refurbishing and sales of umpire gear.

One is dead. The other is not.

Know why these customization options are available? Do you know why Douglas CP's are so expensive? It's the same reason Force3 gear costs so much too...  They're both made in the USA.

@Thunderheads is exactly right. Jeff will take care of you and Douglas does a great job customizing. For me, they added plates for gap protection on the shoulder caps and wings for more protection aro

Got the gap protection and wing protectors added. I held off on the t-hooks. I like plastic clips. With Ray’s harness I can get it tight enough for my liking. Like I said, I hate that I waited this lo

Got mine back today.  Sent it in and it was ready two days after they received it.  Douglas is quite a pleasure to deal with.

In case anyone is wondering, the shoulder flaps added in this picture is all they offer.  I spoke with Jeff and he said these are the only ones they put on.  There are old pictures on this forum of other people having various sizes and types of flaps added by Douglas (some white, black, etc).
