Sorting

I get posts "sorted by rating," seemingly as a default. Is there a way to make "sort by date" my default setting?

Cannot for the life of me figure out how to default threads to "sort by date" and it leads to confusion when folks say things like "ignore the previous answer" and some folks are downvoting the incorrect answers as well.

There's a reason for that, and it hasn't changed in 6 years.

Sorry I missed this until now. I'm checking the settings and see most are sorted by recently updated, but there are a few that have not been. I'm making them all sort by recently updated. If you could let me know if I miss any forums.
