Force 3 Defender Mask

can you put different pads on the Defender traditional style mask or are you stuck using the pads that come with the mask due to the shape of the frame?

You're stuck with using Force3 pads.

The system is designed to use it, you don't need or want to use a different set of pads. You won't regert this mask.

The stock pads are really good and are designed to work with this particular mask.  I have owned 2 Force 3 masks and they are protective and comfortable.

So I'm assuming that Wegner and Winters have a Wilson "W" patch sewn onto their mask pads...

I think your assumption is correct.
