There is a lady in town that makes extra large bags. She does an excellent job on them. She's a widow of a local umpire. If you want her number, I'll pm it to you. They are perfect for softball.

I use the same ball bag for softball as I do for baseball.  It is rare that I ever have more than 1 ball in the bag and 1 in play.  If I do get a 3rd, it fits fine in a Ump-Attire Ultimate bag.

I finally ordered the Gerry Davis 11.5 bags and they work very well for softballs - they are not quite as deep as others and therefore softballs are easier to pull from the bag quickly. The hems on the beltloops are not tacked or sewn inside and so when I thread the belt through, I sometimes have to push the folded under pieces back in.

Dude, I gave you the web site of a company that makes ball bags just for softballs!

Seriously, they're big, quality bags with heavy duty material and solid construction.

Go to the website that sells ASA softball umpire equipment. Their ball bags are larger sized to fit softballs, plus they're well-made and sturdy.

The ASA bags are terrible-too shallow to keep the balls and gear in when you move. They seem to be made like the Smitty ones. I use the Ultimate bags with no issues for both SB and BB.

That's odd. I've used them for hundreds of games and never, ever had anything fall out, or even feel like something was going to fall out.

Are you sure you're not wearing them upside down? :P

I also have a couple of the Smitty bags and find the ASA bags to be better constructed, with better materials.
