Merry Christmas all of you, my colleagues.

I'm perplexed as to why we stopped baseball up here in Wisconsin, given that 45° and dry is ballplayin' weather come April. Because of no baseball, and no snow with which to work at the local ski/board-park, I took a job at Amazon, in one of the regional distro centers. It seems one of the great American sports – shopping – is still alive and well for our DC here between Chicago and Milwaukee pumped out 6 million shipments in one week, a worldwide company record.

Enjoy and be thankful for your gifts... even if you have to return or exchange them,
