Can't Call Anymore Balls for a While

This past weekend I got a number of home improvement projects done. 

So I'm carrying 2, 4" x 6" x 10' posts to my workbench and thought I was closer to the bench than I actually was. So when I started to let them go I they fell a little. When they dropped my left thumb got pinched between the two and gave me a pretty nice blood blister. 

A little earlier today it popped and now I just have a raw thumb, which is extremely sensitive to touch. There is no way I could roll over a ball on my indicator ( I use a 3-2-2 indicator) without being in some pretty substantial pain. 

I guess I will just have to only call strikes tomorrow night.

As luck would have it my last nights game was awesome. All pitchers were hitting their marks and the catchers were making the pitches look good. I don't know the last time I called so many strikes. The teams hustled and played well and we got 9 innings complete in just under 2 hours with a final score of 4-2. On the occasion I had to call a ball I turned the indicator backwards and used my index finger. The few times I tried with my thumb I paid for it.
