Didn't happen to me, but to my assigner on a game last night Adult league,  Game ends 6-0.  losing team has player EJ for arguing balls and strikes.  Pitcher for losing team goes up to umpires after game and asks them a couple questions to them while they are at their cars changing. He was at first polite and just trying to get information.  He feels that the ejection for his player was invalid and one of the 4 batters he hit he felt didn't make enough attempt to avoid the pitch(fast ball the froze batter). After walking away and getting in his car, while driving away he rolled his window down and started mother f'ing the umpires calling them horrible and every name in the book.

Could you then classify this as a post game ejection?

*Note, the umpires made a note of everything and sent it along with their EJ report to the league president*

Typically, the umpires' authority ends after they leave the field of play, so they can't eject anyone.  But to @noumpere's point, report it to the league and there should be some disciplinary action.

I should have added to my comment above, that under NCAA rules, the umpire does have jurisdiction on this type of behavior until the umpires have left the game site (not just the field).

But, most "Adult League" games are not played under NCAA rules

What a puss...Should get demoted to youth ball if he does not have the brass to say to their faces what he said while driving away in comfort and safety...

He demonstrated his ratness (yes, it's a word; I looked it up :D) and is obviously an assistant coach in training.

The same idiot had told my partner and I as we were walking off the field that we were the worst umpires he's seen, DIRECTLY AFTER  he had gotten picked off 1st for the second out in the 7th being down 6-2.  I could have post game ejected him there, but it was raining and i just wanted to get to my car and out of my wet gear.

And that's why you NEVER talk to a game participant away from the field, if you can absolutely help it.  And it sounds like the guy in your OP could have helped it.  Tell the player "Game's over, man.  Nothing to discuss."  And maybe remind him that he's essentially invading your 'locker room,'

It's clear, from how it ended, that his intent was to be a d1ck from the start.  He succeeded.

Oh, and to the question:  make a written report to the league, and to your association.  (If there's a committee, not just an assignor at the top.)
