Interference:  The act of an offensive player, umpire or nongame person who interferes with; physically or verbally hinders; confuses; or impedes any fielder attempting to make a play.

 

Obstruction:  The act of a fielder who, while not in possession of or in the act of fielding the ball, impedes the progress of any runner.

If so, then both (a) and (b) are correct.

 

If not, then (b) is the best single response.

B can't be right, because R3 should be awarded home.

 

C can't be right because it is OBS in (b)

 

D can't be right because F6 didn't obstruct in (a)

 

So, it must be A, even though the answer would only apply in part (a)

 

And, I forget which question I missed, but I disagree wth the stated answer, so I left it and didn't correct it.

I did get the question correct, but I didn't like the choices.

Yup. I figured that the point was OBS or no, and ignored the award part.
