Hello,

I am getting back into umpiring after many years. I Played in high school, but that was many years ago. coached three kids through Little League, one in travel ball, and have one still playing Challenger. I have been on the board of our local league for a few years now. But i wanted to get back on the field. so now i am wearing blue. having lots of fun and looking forward to learning what its like from the other side. My plan is to volunteer for little league and work my way up to high school.

thanks for the resource and i enjoy reading responses.

Welcome! You'll know in short order of it's for you. I started as you are, and in spite of all the crap that comes with it, I'm hooked. Get a good mentor, pay attention to this site, and ask lots of questions.

Oh yea.... have fun!
