Leather Luster and Base Shoes

Has anyone ever tried Leather Luster on base shoes? I'm toying with the idea...

Unless base shoes are made of something different than plate shoes ...... why not?!

Yes, but it has been awhile.  Most of the games I work are on fields that all I do is brush off the shoes and then spray them off after that.  But, because I' a little bit OCD about my shoes I usually scrub them in my sink with hot soapy water.  50 scrubs on the front, now wait, 50 scrubs on the back, no, 25 on the front and then 25 on the back.  Then 25 on the sides.  Turn over and pick gravel out of the soles and then scrub the soles.  Rinse well, then do it all over again because I didn't see the gum on the bottom of the right shoe which I scrub last because you always clean the left shoe first.  Damn. What was the question?
