I only wear a 6 Stitch when I am on the Bases. and I don't wear one on the Plate(HSM).

 

Steve tends to get strange people evaluating him. I don't have half of the issues he does. 

 

Bill, I just figure since they are picking these kind of nits, I must be the best umpire EVAR!  

 

That's exactly what I keep telling everyone. Steve is the Best Umpire EVAR!!!

I wear a 6 stitch on the plate (Using a Nike Ti mask) and a 8 stitch on the bases.

Usually a 6 as several of my associations only offer 6. Some also offer 4. I hate 4. This season I bought a new CBUA in 8 stitch. It works great behind the plate with my loose mask harness. I like it so much I'm "big leaguing" in summer ball and wearing it in rec (wreck) and travel ball games with some of my uncertified partners wearing plain black. I also hate plain hats. I wear my army basic airborne school instructor "blackhat" with my rank and Master Parachutist wings on the bases. Don't hear much from rec ball/travel ball daddy-coaches wearing either.
