Right at the knees!!!!

NOT DIRECTED AT Jax:

let's be honest .....the majority of us aren't calling this pitch a strike at most levels .....

Even though it is at the knees there has to be F2's proper presentation of the pitch. That one may have been a strike but it was Butchered by F2.

Good pitch that was butchered by F2.

I disagree that he butchered it.  Watch the video and tell me how he could have caught that higher?  That pitch had a ton of movement!  I guarantee that 99% of the catchers we all work with would have turned their glove over to catch that pitch (which would likely result in it being balled).  Pro F2 catching a pitch properly so a pro umpire could correctly call it a strike, and then correctly toss the manager.

Hang on..... hang on....

BEFORE you saw the side shot that I posted ............. what was your thought on that pitch?

I watched the game live, and my first impression was that it was low.  This had nothing at all to do with Ianetta and everything to do with the late movement on the pitch.

Ok, fair enough, and I think most would/should concur ;)
