For umpires, we sure do say "You" a lot in our discussions/arguments on here.

?????

Would normally warrant an EJ in our games. It's ironic to me that we always say "You" is the dirty word for a coach in a 'discussion,' yet we throw it around like no other haha

Ok, I thought that's where you were going but the analogy is being missed.

An arguement from a coach/manager and an umpire is a totally different animal than us conversing about something here on a forum, don't YOU think?

With my most recent 'civil discussions' with a Varsity coach in my mind, I just might have to agree with you.

At clinics, when we watch videos I often hear clinicians talk about how "we" missed that one, or "we" should be in a better position, or whatever. I like this approach: we're all on the same team, and we're working toward a common goal. It's worth talking that way: when one of us misses a call, we can all learn something from it.

So, what's our favorite chest protector?

"We" didn't tank that call, "YOU" did, but I have your back. We are a team....
