It's not fair!

I knew a police officer that was killed five years ago out there as a gang initiation. This story makes me angrier.

A guy that is a few years younger than me had a shot at the show, got into drugs and washed out. His nephew was a very good player, graduated HS, ready to go play college. Decided that getting in a gang was more important and decided to shoot a cop. Luckily not successfully but went on a three day interstate evading of the police. He is now in jail, a great talent wasted, just like his uncle.
