I'm not sure what individual training benefit you get from a camera mounted on the mask. I would think that a camera (or two) on what the umpire is doing would be more beneficial. 

 

I brought my smart phone with me to several pre-season scrimmages and filmed several chapter members' plate work. One of the guys took video of my plate work...lets just say I have stuff to work on. But without seeing it for myself I wouldn't have known what.

Its amazing how getting videoed doing a plate will MESS you up for a few games BUT will pay off in the long run..

I was thinking (if you don't use the NHL mask) clip the camera underneath the brim of the hat, then pull your mask over that. 2BU at the '01 MLB ASG (SEA) had Ump's Cam like that. FOX also had a catchers cam which broke during an O's game.

Yeah, there's got to be a way! There's a company coming out w/ a camera that will allow you to stream from your POV (point of view) camera
