Kinda like putting on your seatbelt after the accident, dontcha think?

 

I just don't want to cry in front of a bunch of kids if I get hit again. :crybaby2:

I keep getting hit on the same spot on my thigh. The last 4 games in a row. Last night I thought I was going to cry when I got hit again. Am I not in the slot properly? Anyone else have this p

Then again I had the bases for a change. lol

I do have the shorts version of the mcdavids which I will wear tomorrow.

So you moved back to Tee ball?

Well Jax, maybe it was me commenting on this thread and catching karma's eye, or someone's got a voodoo doll on me, but I got hit tonight in the championship game of a pre-district tournament tonight the same way you did!  And I've thought it over and over....like you, I have no idea how it happened.  :confused:

 

RH batter, I'm in the slot (I've got a stance just like Dale Scott) and catcher lined up directly behind home plate, so my entire right side/leg is behind the catcher.  Breaking ball comes in right over the middle of the plate, but low in the dirt.  Catcher not only whiffs on it, but lifts up so ball bounces underneath him.  Next thing I know, the ball smacks me in the same spot as you (almost on top of my right upper thigh), then deflects off the side of my waist/stomach. 

Even with my McDavid hexpad shorts on, I still felt it.  It's not like I lifted up either...I was still down in my stance to call a ball. 

Dunno....weird.  Even though I seem to be the poster boy for "sometimes the ball finds you" this is first time that's happened, so I completely understand your concern.
