I was listening to ESPN tonight when this broke.  They played a clip of his interview with a guy shortly after this thing happened.  I will say this much, that kid is either an incredible actor, or he got suckered pretty hard.  Curious to see if Dead spin has it right or not, irregardless this kid is still getting paid when the draft rolls around, fake girlfriend or not, because he can play some ball.  He just may have cost himself some $ and pushed his stock a little lower, but hey Oakland still gets to pick at some point.

He is 22.  While I know much more at 29 than I did at 22, that is still an adult.  

 

I don't know what happened, but seeing that his dad told the media that the girlfriend came to Hawaii to visit, it is rather fishy.
