I just ordered some TW pads for my mask. I've heard nothing but raves about the, but my question is are they any more durable than regular pads. I try to change my pads every season to keep the padding fresh and doing it's job.

Has anyone had them long enough to get a gage on their durability?

They seem to be...I alternate between helmet and mask, so I haven't put them through a super-rough test, but after two years I think they've got plenty of seasons in them. As I recall, their marketing info said that the padding itself does not break down like foam and can last years. The cover will prob wear out before the padding.

I don't have TWs (although I'm hoping for a black pair from Santa) but I change my pads out every yr. Probably too soon but I'd rather that than wait to long to change them out and potentially get a concussion.

I recall Team Wendy saying their pads protective properties do not deteriorate over time.

Ive had a set for 3 years and they are still good. The tan ones will fade like tan doeskin mask pads do, though. Mine are black.

I will be using mine for their 3rd season this upcoming year. They hold up well because they are machine washable. So it's easy to wash away all of the bacteria that you can't do with traditional pads.

Officially, Sheilah at TW recommends replacement every season.

Unoffficially, they last much longer with proper care.
