ADA is the ADA. There are drive-up ATMs that have braille on them. :smachhead:

My economics teacher last year quizzed the class on why banks do that. No one got it right... It is easier and cheaper for banks to mass produce one ATM machine, for both drive-in, walk up, and in-bank ATMs than to create two seperate ATMs - one with and one without braille.

Creating seperate ones would require higher construction costs, the cost of seperating them, as well as maintaining quotas for how many of each they need. Making one is cheaper and takes less time.
