I watched the game. After that 1/2 inning, when they came back for the top of the 6th, the Tampa broadcast showed a blown up view of the play, and sure enough, it looks like a piece of the ball got the front left corner of the bag...amazing call.

Because, as we all know, Tim McClelland is vertically challenged... perhaps next to Jordan Baker, who does wear two.

Being short makes you look short, ball bags have nothing to do with it.

And I and about 100 other agree.. but the powers to be.. like to tell young umpires this.. I'm 5'7" and I wear two.. maybe cause I'm too lazy to always ask for more baseballs...
