And when a strike is a strike I want the batter to hit the ball and get a base hit. I only want them swinging at pitches in the zone and not out of the zone. I understand if he swings and makes an out on a ball out of the zone, although they should not be swinging at anything outside the zone to start with, but I expect the batter to get base hits on a ball he gets inside the zone to hit, and that is not happening all the time either. Tell them to do their job and then they don't have to whine about and blame the umpires.
