Another first in my career

Saturday I had another first in my career. I had 3 solo Mustang games (9 y/o). Per my association policy I'm working it from behind the mound all of the sudden I hear from the Shortstop behind me "Time blue!"

I thought this was going to be my 3 millionth shoe-tying time out of the day, So I call time and turn around and look at the kid. He's holding his mouth saying he just lost his tooth and he comes up to me to show me. Everybody in the park is laughing. Coach and dad come out the tooth came out but was still cemented to his braces. Dad breaks the tooth off with his car keys.

What is the reason for your association's behind the mound policy? I'm guessing that the strikezone for 9s can be called easily from behind the mound. Do they want to get the steal at 2B more than fair or foul. Do they do this on the 90' field?
