And I thought this just happened in kids games.

Get out of the way!!

Looks like the batter ran into the umpire.

Molina was grabbing the catchers mask from being in the way of a potential play at the plate.... I understand catchers look after each other but he probably should have just gotten out of there!!

He tried to clear the mask and the PU moved him so he could see the play. It wasn't that was clearing the batter for safety, he was blocking his view.

I think Molina was looking more after his soon-to-be-30-million-a-year teammate.

You mean he was looking out for his 30 million dollar a year soon to be ex-teammate. Everyone knows Theo will bring Albert to The Cubs next year.............

We'll see. I think Cards fans are more reasonable than Cubs fans, and there's not too many Cards fans that believe he won't be here next year.

I think they made their long term decision about Albert the moment they signed Holliday. It would probably be the best thing for St. Louis to lose Pujols. If they keep him, they'll have the best player in baseball, and no other significant talent to go with him. They won't be able to afford it.

well with no talent they made it to the world series.. and lost their #2 pitcher before the season started, struggled with starting pitching all year, they get one more pitcher to go with Carpenter, and wainright.. they will be pretty tough...Pujols is not going anywhere...
