Season is now over. I would like to give some well deserved thank yous.

Thank you knees for holding up during the season. You will be treated well this off season.

Thank you experience for growing tremendously. You are continually growing and are there with me every game.

Thank you judgement for being there most of the time. You bailed on me every now and then, but were there for the most part. Let's work with experience to get better.

Thank you conditioning for being there when the temps and humidity were hellish. There were times I didn't think I was going to make it but you pulled me through.

And finally, thank you God for giving me the opportunity to do something I love.

Too bad you guys don't live out here in the great Southwest.... My 2011-2012 season is just beginning!! I have done 12 games already since August 30th.

We who live in warm weather states are very lucky. I am looking forward to the fall/winter where I will umpire for USSSA, AAU and Pony. Heck, I did 6 games last Saturday. So I guess, for me, I would add:

I had about 3 weeks off last month and used my umpiring money to go on a cruise.

Now back at it for fall ball amd the added duty as a clinician to help train new umpires

nice that you guys have legit fall ball, its not even worth it for me around here (Massachusetts). Half the time you only get half the players for each team and the other half its too wet too play. I need a winter home down south just so i can do games

I know the feeling.... I did USSSA Tourney this weekend in Vegas, 6 on Sat, 3 on Sun. Love the fact that there is Baseball year round!!!
