Yeah, next time ask BEFORE you buy.

It's really light, though.

A guy I know owns this mask and hates it. It blocks all peripherals and it restricts your views from north to south. It also caused a buddy of mine to have 4 concussions in one summer.

I, too, got a concussion from the SUL, and does have horrible vision out of it.

But it's really light. As light as my Schutt.

I used one of these for part of one season and then gave it to a youth league umpire who had "salivated" over the light weight...

I actually felt bad later for doing it.....But he never complained about taking any youth league shots to it...

I used it for several years with no ill effects. Yes, the vision is less than good but I am less than convinced it led to concussions if worn properly. I took an 85 MPH shot dead in the mask, it popped up and out and fell at my feet. Four concussions in a season meant he was coming back too fast. JMO
