  1. All .... Here is a pair of All-Star LGU 2000 17" leg guards. Used pretty extensively, but still have some life. Make an offer I also have 2 UN-USED Shock Doctor standard cups that came with the Shock Doctor Leggings that Ump-Attire used to sell. Perfect if you have a bunch of young umpires just starting out. PM with interest ....... Paypal friends and family only Thanks .........
  2. I'm looking to upgrade my shin guards from the bulky Honig's ones I use today to something lighter. I'm looking at the All Star System Sevens and the Force 3 shins. I know people rave about the Force 3's, but can anyone one make a recommendation or express a preference? Or throw out a different option to consider?
  3. Interesting video in the 2014 Sochi Olympics about the kevlar that Unequal uses for protection in their umpire products. http://www.9news.com/news/article/376988/188/Alpine-skier-Julia-Mancuso-trains-underwater
  4. I am selling a brand new pair of these, as I noticed the first time I tried them on that the awesome knee protection wasn't low-profile enough for my combo pants that I wear behind the dish. As you can see in the picture, these 15" don't have a gap between the knee and shin guard like the 17" do, so these offer ideal protection. They have ankle protection but don't come with the removable foot guard, which most of you don't need. Ump-Attire has them for $62 after shipping, so I'm selling them for $45, shipped. Have never been used and are incredibly light.
  5. To all you brothers out there, I've been researching LG's as of late looking to find that holy grail of performance, comfort, weight and value. I usually wear a single knee, just feels comfortable, and have been using an old pair for years. There is lotttts of info. out there on both the tried and true (wilson, honigs, diamond etc.) as well as the new and improved (all-star). In my blury eyed internet searches last night, I ran across these ProNine LG's (see photo). The way in which these attach looks interesting as well as the adjustability of the length. Pro9.bmp To my surprise however, I wasn't able to find reviews. So I'm left wondering if there is a problem with this brand or specific item that I'm out of the loop on. Does anyone out there have or used a set that they can comment? Details would be appreciated but as my curiousity is peeked, any info. would be helpful.
