for 3man they are now teaching to straddle the line if there is r3 so you will not be blocked out looking down the line.

got a pitching coach today. NJCAA D1 rat couldn't stand that his pitcher couldn't find my strike zone and walked the bases full then gives up a triple. as the pitcher took the mound to resume play the coach shouted "those are yours blue" and i called time and dumped him. after the game the other teams pitching coach told my partner he was f@%$ing horrible for which he recieved a post game ejection. both coaches will have to sit out the 1st game of playoffs:D

funny thing is i went back there 4 days later and the head coach comes up to me between innings and thanks me for it.

what i saw made me think mc immediately. r3 truned into f2 who was up the line and holding the ball. as dobie said "if he puts a forearm to f2's nose" i will always get it. this one wasn't quite that bad, but he did go after f2.

JUCO D1 conference game Bottom of 7th, 1 out, runners 1st and 3rd. The batter hits ball down the 3rd baseline, F5 fields ball and R3 breaks for home, F5 throws home to try to retire R3, F2 is up the line and fields the throw, R3 turns into F2 and tries to knock the ball loose, colliding with F2 and knocking him down. I saw R3's hands come up for the collision, in my judgment he wasn't protecting himself. I call R3 out on interference and eject him for malicious contact. would any of you guys make this call?

when it gets to slick for anybody to stand up much less walk or run.

i use the 4 dial "braille" one that +pos sold, when i have to (no scoreboard).

i wore the k1 for hs, usssa, and juco until it broke down. 3+ years of starting in feb and ending in oct took its toll on the inner padding, 2 straight juco foul balls to the heart took its toll on the "shell". now i have the wvp and couldn't be happier about the protection. as others have said look at the levels you work or aspire to work and get what you can afford that will also have the protection you need.

juco game this past saturday, r2 my partner in c gets drilled by line drive on the left leg, he barely had time to flinch, ball comes off him straight to ss who throws to 1st for apparent out, we called time placed runners and heard from everyone how we screwed up. defense wants the out, offense wants the runner at third. nailed it perfectly as did you.

can't watch baseball anymore without watching the umpires. doesn't matter if it is pros or joes. my wife makes fun of me for it.

HS V game 2-1 full seven innings. i rotate to third on a single to left center, runner, ball, and me bang the final out, walk 200 yards back to car. done in 1:05.
