I can get to the brackets but my "standings" button doesn't work. I want to see if anyone is doing as bad as me. I get this: "error Only the league commissioner is allowed to access this page." when I try to go to standings. Anyone else having this problem? Also, is up with Kansas losing to Northern frikin Iowa? :wow:

All right, so I am in. I used to do this at work and get into it and try to figure it out. This year I picked the favorites everytime, except one game. I heard some dude on the radio he thought Pitt would go out v Xavier so that is my ONLY underdog pick. TEN underdogs win in the first round! I'm on the site trying to see our standings and can't seem to get to it. Anyone else having this problem?

I was at a clinic once and we were talking about this and it was pointed out that if you were trying to tag a base and you had the ball firmly in your possesion and if you fell or were face down in the dirt and the brim of your hat touched the base, assuming that the hat was being worn correctly and securely, that that would be a legal tag. I've been waiting for that to happen ever since. :bang:

Just remember that the "with his body" part only works for tags of a base "A TAG is the action of a fielder in touching a base with his BODY while holding the ball securely and firmly in his hand or glove; or touching a runner with the ball, or with his hand or glove holding the ball, while holding the ball securely and firmly in his hand or glove."

I'm reading about it now and can't find a difference, 'cept the wording.

I'll add this for FED, which is what I am thinking about now. 8-4-1g is the same as 6.05k and the Fed casebook play 8.4.1 C has this exact play and states "...since no play was being made on B2 at first base, 8-4-1g does not apply..."

Has anyone used these NFHS books? Are they useful for learning the rules? I have the J/R and the BRD already. These books are inexpensive but I don't want to buy books just for the sake of having more books. Anyone? Worth reading?
