    While waiting for my new USD credit card to come in, both Hibbett and Dowdle ran out and no longer have stock (contrary to Dowdle's 1-3 day ship time; I got an email from them after placing my order that they're backordered til June). UA is also out of stock, so that's unfortunately out as well. Does anyone know an online store that has stock? Was hoping to pick it up in Niagara Falls, NY a week from today

    I've been looking at the XV for ages, but being in Canada it's quite difficult to get across the border except used, and everyone likes them so much they don't hit the classifieds that often. Now that this new version is out, though, I'm back in the game. I don't mind my WVG, but I've never found it particularly confidence-inspiring. It's either too high or too low, it's much too warm because it basically doesn't breathe, and the default harness is totally useless. If I've already got a @Razzer harness, do you have any recommendations other than sculpting the shoulder plates a bit more?

    But I won this last year. Not enough people in my real life give a damn, but I needed to brag COBA is the Central Ontario Baseball Association and covers some of the most populated cities/regions in the country.

    So I normally wear a 42R... Is this a proper plate coat that's upsized for a CP underneath, or does it fit like a regular 42R?

    The commentators mentioned he has Moleskin padding on the inside of his mask, and that's almost suede-like in its abrasion capability. I could easily see that just being a giant "Moleskin burn."

    Oh I absolutely know I wouldn't be, but other things require my money at the moment--aside from the fact that the season has ended in Canadaland and there's no baseball here til May now Maybe next year, who knows?

    There's just something about those Nike masks, isn't there? Such a clean, simple design. Wish I could justify the price, but alas.

    Thanks, but I was working with @mbkcoach already to buy one of his masks. He was willing to ship it directly to Tony for me, but I just couldn't get payment to Tony sorted out

    I use an online bank primarily, so that doesn't really work. Besides the point anyway, since he's stopped responding to me. PayPal does work, but Tony doesn't have PayPal set up. I offered that as the first thing and he said he'd look at getting it set up and then stopped responding. Too bad

    I wash my stuff in my washer on the "sanitize" cycle maybe twice a year. Helps keep everything fresh. Beyond that, I make sure I use Febreze's antibacterial spray every time I wear my gear and that seems to help a lot.

    No, he did, because he was responding and said he was trying to figure out a way to take payment from Canada since I can't mail a USD cheque. I followed up four or five times over the course of about a month and never heard back from him after that.

    If I went with that then I'd never end up buying anything because not everything works for everyone. I have a +POS ZRO-G that some people dislike but I find super useful. I was trying to buy another one on here and have it sent straight to Tony at Mask-It but he just stopped responding to me so I guess he doesn't want the business

    Saw this post on reddit today and thought it would be great if we could donate some equipment to these guys. According to their website, they're looking for masks, indicators, and "padding", though I'm not sure what padding that actually refers to. Unfortunately I did all my closet cleaning already but I may have some old shirts I wouldn't mind sending along. Worth a look!

    I like but don't love my Force3 bag. It holds almost all my gear (just) but not my shoes, and I find the bottom compartment to be too small to be useful. It's supposed to hold shirts/pants, but the way that the top opens means that the bottom portion just sorta flops around when I try access it. I've taken to hanging my shirts and pants on a holy SH*# handle in the back seat. For the price I paid for it (compared to other gear bags available in Canada), I'm happy with it. It was about $40 less than 36" Diamond bag, and while I wanted the Wilson, I couldn't find it anywhere and shipping from UA was prohibitively expensive.

    Things like this are why I think the B/S/T forum needs a rule that all FS threads must have a price posted. "Send me offers," is kind of a pain in the ass.
