  1. Yes. Everything would be... A) a ball because i can't see out of the mask. B) a ball because I'd be looking straight at the dirt because of the weight. C) idk what the pitch would be because I'd be concussed the first shot I took.
  2. Cant believe this guy wants this much for a Nike. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Late-1800s-Vtg-Early-Leather-Baseball-Catchers-Mask-No-Weld-Ear-Guards-/400419273064?_trksid=p2047675.m2109&_trkparms=aid%3D555003%26algo%3DPW.CAT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D142%26meid%3D5893308639085647981%26pid%3D100010%26prg%3D1076%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D271161426964%26
  3. 100% agree Chavez. Wore mine Saturday on wet field. Slipping issues did not reoccur. Must've been just one of those things that day. I love my zigs. Probably gonna get some solid black though. The b/w aren't hard to clean, just require more cleaning. I think if you can find a small baby bottle brush it will make them much easier. I found a large one that I'm gonna cut down and make shorter and smaller. Ive been using a tooth brush and you can get most of the outside just not the hard to reach spots.
  4. ------ Ok Ryan. Correct sir.

  6. Good god, no. It's been explained a couple of times in the most recent posts. It's no different than F6 hitting R1 on the way to second. It must be intentional to be called, and the running lane has nothing to do with it. That makes sense. Not sure what I was thinking.
  7. In the second situation, you have a B/R who interferes with a play after he's out. I've got B/R out on the play, and the runner closest to home out AKA R3 The OP doesn't say that, though. The way it reads is a ball hit to F3, and BR interferes with him. But what BR interferes with makes a difference: Interferencewith F3's fielding of the batted ball for the play on BR at 1st? BR out and R3 returns Interference with F3's throw home to get R3 with no play initially being made on BR? BR and R3 out Interference with F3's throw home to attempt putout of R3 after BR out at 1st? BR and R3 out Need more complete information on the situation to make the proper ruling I read the OP as a running lane violation after he had been retired. But you are correct. The way the interference occurs matters. I don't think you can have runner's lane interference, unless intentional, on a play at home plate from F3. Unless I'm missing something in an earlier post. R3. Ball hit to first base. f3 steps on first the nails the retired B/R running outside the running lane. Wouldnt that be interference? If he was within the runners lane is he protected if he's hit with the return throw

  10. It's the whole attitude. Some people think their "opinions" are gospel, absolute truths. Anyone who dares think otherwise is an idiot, uninformed, talking out of their a$$.... and they're not afraid to let you know. Unfortunately, I know too many people like this. Me: "I think Ryan Braun is the best hitting outfielder in the game today"Them: "No way...It's Trout by a mile. How can you be such an idiot to think Braun is better? You don't know what you're talking about, you're a moron......." There's no debating , exchange of ideas, or thoughtful conversation with this type person. Sad. Well it IS Trout. And he should have won MVP last year too. And if you disagree, you're obviously not on the same level as I am and you suck Trout...... I love hearing announcers say that name! Trout was robbed and so was Ryan Braun. No if ands or butts about it.
  11. They do at TUS.please, tell. All I've ever heard of is: Call x amount of strikes Call x amount of balls Call x amount of strike 3s Show the zone, but not grade on accuracy. Is TUS different? After the first week or so, it was call the pitch as you see it. If you called a pitch that was a ball a strike, you would get a "as an instructor, that pitch is not a strike." or "as an instructor, that pitch is a strike." If you called a ball they would ask "where'd you have that pitch" Or final evaluations were also the call them as you see them method.
  12. They do at TUS.

  18. PBUC and the umpire school are still saying its legal til they here otherwise. As of right now theyre teaching it as a legal move.
  19. Not a problem Ron. Remember balls that hit down the line and hop over the base from fair to foul are fair balls too.
  20. A: fair ball. The ball cam to rest between home and first before being fielded or touched. http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=22734353&c_id=mlb&topic_id=vtp_must_c B: foul. Ball landed foul beyond first. Then rolled fair.
  21. The itenerary says we are off on Sundays. I don't see why we wouldn't.
  22. Besides gear and clothes is anyone bringing anything else. I'll be bringing my clubs for Sundays. if anyone golfs that would be a great way to get away on Sunday's for a little bit. Anyone want to make a check list of items not to forget?
  23. They also played in two different eras. I bet Maris rarely seen a pitch over 85. Those guys are seeing that every day.
  24. Roids or not Bonds, McGwire, Sosa and likes could smash the baseball. That hasn't to be given some kind of credit.
