Dido on everything above.
I have been to some LL clinics and we wrap up in the classroom to head out to the field for drills, and someone always asks, do we need anything? Answer is NO.
The next thing you know you’re simulating removing you mask and clearing the catcher. I went to a weeklong pro-clinic and found that keeping our mask with you is expected. I'm not saying take it to the bathroom, although there are some hard core guys here that may think that's a good idea. LOL Think about it, if your the only one using a mask, when clearing the catcher you’re going to be noticed. Keep your mask in you Left hand, tucked under your arm or on your face when participating in any drills at the plate. Don’t forget the Indicator (it's not a clicker) yes, it stays in your left hand as well. Practice this in the mirror until you get comfortable with the process.
A
few more Do's and Don’ts
DON'T.......wear white socks EVER, wear sunglasses behind the plate (they can't see you eye's when tracking the pitch), talk with others when clinicians are speaking, .. I'll let the others on this forum contribute more Don'ts.
DO..........Show up early, raise you hand when you have a question, use, yes sir, no sir and thank you sir, when responding to clinicians, Keep your mouth shut when receiving constructive criticisms/evaluation of work, keep a small note pad and pen/pencil with you at all times ( yes in the bathroom. you ever know when a question may enter the mind LMAO) Guys this where you can add more Do's
