Contest Idea

We just had a contest idea using the new embedded video feature.

Our idea is to collect video's of your mechanic for a called strike three. We would set a collection date due by the end of Spring/Early Summer then have the members vote on the best Strike Three Mechanic.

How it would work:

Get your video and submit it to YouTube, Yahoo Video, GoogleVideo, Meta Cafe or other place where we can parse it from. Then upload it to our site under a section we would title contest. The administrators will lock that thread until the deadline where all videos are to be received. Once the videos are received the threads will be unlocked with a voting scale. The threads would then again be locked at the end of the voting period and the winner determined.

Voting:

Voting will not be mutually exclusive. Each member could vote for each video once on a 1-10 scale.

Prize:

Right now the prize would be bragging rights. However, if were were able to pick up a sponsor between now and the beginning of the contest we could ask them for some sort of prize.

We've now got 6 people interested. If we can get a few more, maybe 10, I'll start this contest, so get your video cameras out and start recording.

Guys I wanted to bump this thread with the beginning of a new season and see if there is interest. I've reset the poll to zero responses.

I will give the poll until 2/28 and see what the response is. If it is favorable, we'll try it this year.
