R1 misses HP, BR touches after HR; R1 out on appeal?

LL Majors Tournament rules. R1, less than 2 outs, I was BU. Batter hits a HR. R1 misses HP, BR touches HP. R1 realizes his mistake and comes back to touch HP after BR already touched HP. DHC wants an out for touching HP in the wrong order (passing the runner, missing the plate, somebody's gotta be out!). PU says R1 corrected the mistake by touching HP so we're good. DT never executed a proper appeal, so moot point anyway, but my partner and I were talking after the game and trying to figure it out.

I think I found NFHS 8-2-3 and OBR 5.09(c)(2) A.R.(A), which both basically say a runner who misses a base while advancing may not return to touch it after a following runner has scored. So if DT had executed a proper live ball appeal, PU could have called R1 out for missing HP, and BR still scores since R1 wasn't the 3rd out.

Anyone know what the LL rule is? Seems like it should be in the neighborhood of 7.08, but I can't find it in the rulebook or in the RIM. LL rules usually parallel OBR, so go with that?

Same as OBR. 7.10(b) A.R.  - (1).

But, something I never realized in the OBR/LL, FED, NCAA rules is that it refers to any base, not just HP. Of course that would have to be a fifth world play.

Thanks @Jimurray, knew it had to be there somewhere. I noticed the any base thing too. Can't really picture how that would work.

Correct: score the run pending proper appeal.

Here's why R1's not out for passing: he scored before the BR. True, he missed the plate, but when he passed the base he acquired it for the purpose of score, pending a proper appeal.

At that point, R1 is no longer a runner, but a scored/retired runner. So the BR scoring is not passing another runner.

I was thinking along the same lines--BR can't pass R1 because R1 already scored (pending appeal). And I thought R1 couldn't retouch because BR had already touched. Just couldn't seem to find it right after the game. Wasn't sure about BR's run, but I see now it counts unless R1 is the 3rd out on appeal. Thanks everyone!
