On the intentional drop, like Marlins and Dodgers show in the video, what's runners placement? BR out and runners return to TOP I'm guessing? The Dodger portion made me think BR was given 1B. It's a very quick edited clip though.

NFHS (obviously not the above, but its the book I have) 8-4-1 says:

"The batter-runner is out when:
....
c. his fair fly, fair line drive, or fair bunt in flight is intentionally dropped by an infielder with at least first base occupied and before there are two outs.  The ball is dead and the runner or runners shall return to their respective base(s).
1. In this situation, the batter is not out if the infielder permits the fair fly, fair line drive, or fair bunt in flight to drop untouched to the ground, except when the infield fly rule (2-19) applies (5-1-1j).

"

So, sounds like, "Time of Pitch" to me?  Though would have loved for it to be more specific.

Runners return to their position at time of pitch EXCEPT runners that are forced up since the batter is going to be awarded first base based on the immediate dead ball.  (I think.)

Nope, batter-runner is out.  See the heading of 8-4-1 (included above), which says, "The batter-runner is out when:".  'c' is one of the reasons the BR is out.

My bad ... I was misreading the "untouched" clause.
