Sorry, I saw some Mizuno brush threads already here but, they are old. I'm still unsure about lighting up old threads or starting new threads on the same topics being a larger offense here at U-E...and I certainly do not wish to offend.

I've heard/read about guys talking about a "Mizuno plate brush". (They also offer a more traditional looking, plastic, skinny plate brush...) So, this is being sold by a Japan-based seller, which is not unusual since they don't officially import their umpire line to the US retail market. (If I am wrong and they do, please let me know. If I am correct, why don't they officially compete in the U.S. umpire equipment market?)

Anyway, is there something lost in translation here? Is this brush really meant for the plate? Or is it a gear brush? I don't know why it would come with a holster if it's a gear brush...

That's a must have for the well dressed arbiter, along with the matching holster. But of course you must balance it with the mask hook on the opposite side.

Now, about those Honig's leather ball bags..............................

I, for one, enjoyed the deep cut reference there!
