Question

A game is getting started again from where it was postponed.

If the game was stopped  in the 4th inning in a tie, due to curfew, do they play to 6 innings?

Let's say, for example, in the 5th inning Home goes ahead by one, does the home team win

Yes, suspended games pick up where they left off and continue until completed. Normal game ending procedures apply (not sudden death).

Leagues can have their own rules about how each step works, so it's hard to be more specific without knowing more about the situation.

You typically play the full game unless time limits apply as per league/tournament rules.

eg. games have "no new inning after" 1:30 limit...game is suspended due to darkness after 1:20...game is resumed the next day with ten minutes left - the clock doesn't reset.

If a tournament is running behind on round robin play they could very well treat it as extra innings...or at least finish the game when it reaches "official" status.

Would a player that was present for a suspended game, but not present for the continued game get skipped in the lineup (without penalty) in the continued game?  I do not see that covered in the rule book?
