Missed in all of this is that, at least to me, the pitch, on its own merit, looks like a strike, regardless of any swing - side angle shown at end of video.

What is still worse, is that right around this time, there was a photo of a female umpire that had been hired on by this league. People automatically (even after reading the articles that give the names of the umpires) assumed that the plate umpire was this woman... cause there must only be one plate umpire in the entire league. And the photo with the story on the female umpire showed her in plate gear.
