I've said I'm not going to b:censored:ch about rain outs this year like I did last year.

But a just as a point of reference I had all of my games since Sunday cancelled due to rain , including a total of 5 this weekend. And I'm just waiting for my game cancellation notification to come in for tonight and tomorrow too.

As I'm at home this weekend watching my 'Heels lose to FSU , my wife comes in and asks, "So when does baseball season start for you any way?"

Grrr, As an umpiring addict having my calendar filled up only to be taken from me is like teasing a lion with red meat. Add to that she sent me to Hell on Earth Wal-Mart to pick up some things, I was not in a good mood this weekend.

I dunno. I was supposed to have my first scrimmages on Friday and Saturday and both were cancelled. The weather was sunny and in the 60's. Great for Jersey during the ides of March. I think I would prefer rain. At least there's a reason.

I'm 2 for 5. My varsity scrimmage was canceled tonight. I have worked Thursday and Saturday. I was supposed to do a couple last week and tinight is out, maybe Wed.

I just got off the phone with my commish. My association was scheduled almost 400 games the past week and less than 100 got played. I'm definitely going to quit my griping as he now has to squeeze in all of these make up games.

Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny but after a week of rain it won't matter much because the rain is going to return Thursday.

BTW I'm beginning to round some things up for a trip. Can some people help me find 2 each of:
