Not unlike the pitchers who have thrown at umpires with the catcher "missing" the pitch, this is the logical progression of a coaching system, and/or parental system, that focuses on blaming game officials every time something doesn't go their way.

Eventually, said officials are seen as not only non-human, but as sources of frustration, as obstacles preventing them from what is rightfully theirs.

Needs jail time and I hope there is a hefty civil suit as well.
