Batted Ball hits ground in front of plate in fair territory. Ball takes a big hop and is touched in the air, before touching ground, in foul territory.

Players feet were in fair territory. Umpire called ball fair.

Was correct call made?

When you say "player" you mean the fielder and not the batter, correct? Location of the fielder's feet is irrelevant. Was the ball over fair or foul territory when first touched?

A batted ball is determined fair or foul based on where it is touched, not by the position of the fielder's feet. If the fielder touched the ball while it is in fair territory, it would be a fair ball (even if fielder's feet are in foul territory).  If the fielder touched the ball while it is in foul territory, it is a foul ball (even if his feet are in fair territory).

Unless the big hop bounded the ball over the first or third base bag and the fielder then touched it.
