Consider Gil's question: R1, batter homers and passes R1 for the third out. Does R1's run count? OBR? FED?

OBR as per PBUC-  time play. Only runners who have crossed the plate before the "passing" score.

FED- "When a homerun hitter becomes the third out for passing a preceding runner, it is not a force play. " FED concludes that since the award to all baserunners is home, and the out is not a force play because BR has touched first, other runners runs count.

I had that same situation in a HS game once.  It was the only time the kid had hit the ball out and he not only passed the runner, he way passed the runner.  I felt so bad for the kid.  And then I didn't.
