It looks to me like the call is correct.  PU could have been in a better position.  As we see from several NCAA videos over the years -- PU has a tendance to go to 1BX on balls in the infield -- and needs to drop to the point of the plate and read.

I definitely do not see a tag in the video.  Would anybody have the runner out of baseline?

no ....

his momentum takes him behind the plate but his avoidance maneuver was fine ....

what is the PU pointing at?

Man that plate umpire was awfully far behind the catcher for every pitch.  I think since the ball was was coming from the right side he should have went 3rd baseline extended. What was he pointing at? Sometimes I point when I have a tag.

Actually from his position it was a great call.  Not sure how he saw the missed swipe from there but he did.  And I don't think he was out of the baseline at all, good move on his part.

Something I didn't notice at first, partly through watching it on mute, was the bases were loaded. Why wasn't the catcher on the plate for the throw, and have at least some chance at a 3-2-3 double play? Didn't look like he was drawn up the line by the throw, just decided to set up there.
