Never known anyone to have a problem with Honigs poly-wool plate pants.

As long as you get the right waist size (measurements taken at hip not low on waist at the hip bones bones and if worn at dress pants level up over hips not low on hip bones like jeans and IF you have the leg lengths professionally tailored while wearing your shinguards during the fitting/marking process you should be fine no matter how big you are. Or small

In an attempt at becoming young again I am wearing my umpire pants just above my knees. If that doesn't work shortly I will start wearing them just under my nipples as I really should be. Let the comments begin.

OK. I have more of an hour glass body. Thin waist with big ass and legs. The Smitty plate pants fit great around the waist but are just very tight around the upper leg and butt, almost as much as the base pants. Will probably go with the Honigs and go to a 36 in hopes they won't be too loose.

You just described my wife except for the thin waist. More like a bowling ball body.
