1st base occupied at the TOP. BR out as soon as he struck out. He cannot advance to 1st. F2 needs to know that and not play on him. Batter strikes out, R1 now on 3rd base.

R1 attempts steal, D3K less than 2 outs, BR runs toward 1B, F2 throws to F3 and hits BR, R1 advances to 3B On the play. What do you have? I've got the BR out and R1 back to 1B.

BR is out on the K and can not advance on a D3K because 1B is occupied.

Because the Defense did not understand that is, as you can say "Tough S_it".

R1 advanced to 3B on their mistake and that is where he is staying.

agreed with all of the above... however, the plate umpire needs to loudly say as soon as D3K occurs, "Batter's out! Batter's out!"
