Well--not criticizing on any of these, just asking about positioning. Just looked like some examples from something other than MLB.

 

1:24 positioning and call?

 

2:10-2:12. ---2 outs. Nobody on, ball in gap in right center. Should 3BU be sitting at cutout waiting for BR in case of a play at 2nd? Just looks a little tardy. Also looks like he rimmed the outside rather than come inside. Nothing happened anyway. Just wondering about College 4 man mechanics or positioning on this one.

Play 1)  where should he  be??  Looks like he got the call correct, and had a good look at it ....

 

Play 2)  I don't work 3 or 4 man, but it looks as though he was tardy because he just cruised into 2nd standing up and u3 knew there wouldn't be a play?  just a guess

1. I don't know where else youd want him -- this is exactly right as far as I can tell.

 

2. Your allowed to take that play from the outside but I agree he could have been closer.

2. I agree with Jeff. Probably knew there would be no play so he strolled in.
