The Mids in the Zig plates are not as high..,or don't feel as high cut as the mid in the old Magistrates or the NB 460s. Almost in between a mid-cut and regular cut. That might be why I don't like them. I am a mid-cut guy all the way.

 

They are crazy light. I really wanted to like them. I love zigs...wear them all the time. This is the first zig shoe that I have not been crazy about.

I have the same exact pair/size...I llove them.comfy as can be. light as a feather also. they blow new balance away. just a pain to clean. but great shoe. wouldn't buy any others

I wear a 10.5 and bought an 11 in these and they fit like a 10.5. Exact same shoe and I love them. I think a true 10.5 might have felt small.

That might be my problem. I wear an 11 in all my other zigs. Maybe I should have gone a 1/2 size up.

I wear a 10. My base zigs are a 10.5 which is where the half size smaller comes in.

I tried them on at the Honig's sale in April, ...I have a pretty narrow foot, and I can concur ....

 

I tried on my "normal size" [size of my old magistrates, 10.5] and they were tight in the toe box, but didn't get a chance to try the 11's
