signature and video question

Gentlemen,

I am having trouble viewing embedded videos on the site. It comes up as just a large blank space or a small, Lego looking box with question marks on it. I am on a Samsung Galaxy 2.

Also, I would like to update my signature. I have followed instructions I have been given to go into my account to "my settings". But there is no button/option on the left hand side to update my signature.

Your phone probably does not support the video formats in the posts.  Chrome Mobile browser  (anything based on Mobile Webkit, really) does not support Flash and some other formats.  

 

Youtube vids should launch your native Youtube app if it is installed.  

 

See if you have the "Browser" app that came with older versions of stock android , it is a blue globe and called "browser".    This one supports flash. 

 

Give me a post/thread that does not work for you to try and I will see if it plays on my Galaxy Nexus.

I am assuming you have clicked {Username}>>My Profile>>Edit My Profile>>Signature, or you don't have all those options?

I can't see most videos on my phone. It shows as unknown media.

I thought the upgrade to Tapatalk 2 would fix it but no.  I get the same message.

For mobile devices many may have an issue displaying videos because of the flash player. 

 

I'm working on the signature thing. Some people it is not showing for.

For the record, I am actually on a Samsung Galaxy II 10.1 tablet.

You can go to just about any of the threads from the Professinal section of the site. I can't see any of those videos (oddly enough, I think I was able to when I first signed back onto the site earlier this month)

For the signature, yes I went through the process described above. But there wqs not "signature" option in the edit area.

Any recommendations for an app to download onto my tablet so that I can see the videos?
